Tonight, in a star-studded ceremony at the Lyric Opera in Chicago, the James Beard Foundation announced the winners of the 2025 James Beard Awards. This is considered the highest award for Chefs and restaurateurs in America. The event is organized annually by the James Beard Organization and held to honor the contributions of American chefs and restaurateurs.

If we talk about the James Beard Awards 2025 Winners, in the major categories, Rasca Food and Wine in Boulder, Colorado, was named Outstanding Restaurant, Jungsik Yim of Jungsik in New York City took home the award for Outstanding Chef, and Bûcheron in Minneapolis was named Best New Restaurant.
It was a star-studded night overall for NYC, which had been completely overlooked in the top categories last year. This time, Atomix took home the award for Outstanding Hospitality, and the duo of Lee Hanson and Riad Nasr grabbed the title for Outstanding Restaurateur.
