The North East India Film Festival (NEIFF) stands as an enchanting platform, uniting Filmmakers from the diverse corners of North East India to showcase their cinematic masterpieces and connect with audiences and experts alike. Our primary goal is to elevate the rich cultural heritage of the region and catalyze the growth of a dynamic and inclusive film community.
After a super successful First edition of the Northeast India International Film Festival, the 3rd NIIFF aims to promote the Northeast region as a Potential Filmmaking Destination and open the doors to a broader audience for filmmaking in Northeast India. Reaching new heights and bringing in a new wave IN THE CINEMA OF NORTHEAST INDIA, NIIFF WILL BUILD BRIDGES between the Global Film Industry in Northeast India.
The 3rd edition of the Northeast India International Film Festival (NIIFF) will showcase top independent films from celebrated filmmakers, as well as from new and emerging talents. A vital showcase for indie filmmakers, the diverse array of films, selected by a committee, will include features and shorts from all genres and documentaries.
To be organized thematically, in hopes of representing the full range of the human experience as reflected by our chosen filmmakers, the festival will include one-off special Screenings of award-winning films with cast and crew Q&A, VIP networking events, and free educational & film-related workshops delivered by industry professionals.
The awards ceremony will be held in a gala ceremony with guest presenters on the closing night.

Rules & Terms
The entry form/application will be considered only on receipt of the film submission entry fee.
Films not certified by CBFC can also be submitted.
All films must carry English subtitles.
1. Films entered in the FEATURE FILM Section should be more than 70 mins
2. Films entered in the SHORT FILM Section should not be more than 30 mins.
3. Films entered in the DOCUMENTARY Section should not be more than 45 mins.
4. Films not presenting sufficient technical qualities for good public screening can be refused by the Festival Director.
5. Participants must have the right to enter films in NIIFF regarding all related rights holders/licenses.
6. Participation implies acceptance of all specified regulations.
7. The Festival Director’s decisions on all matters will be final and binding, in line with International Regulations for film festivals.
8. Inform the Festival Director of participation by October 1st, 2022, including film titles, and names and addresses of directors, producers, production companies, and world sales companies.
