The Tarang Cine Awards or Tarang Parivaar Awards is held annually by the Tarang Television channel to honor both the artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the Oriya language film industry, mainly located in the state of Orissa.
This award was launched by Orissa Television Communications (ORTEL) which has introduced the Tarang exclusive entertainment channel. To celebrate the 75 years of Oriya Cinema, Bibhuprasad Rath, Director of Orissa Television Limited, announced the Tarang Parivaar Awards at the award ceremony in Bhuvaneshwar on 26 February 2010.
The inaugural edition of the Tarang Cine Awards was held on 2 May 2010, at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Cuttack, and the second was held in the capital city of Bhuvaneshwar on 26 February 2011.

Tarang Parivaar Awards was distributed in 18 categories to different actors, actresses, directors, best singers, and other personalities every year.
