The Winners of the 70th National Film Awards were announced on Friday at the National Media Center in New Delhi. The award ceremony will take place at a later date, where the President will honour the finest Indian films produced in the various languages during the 2022 calendar year.

Feature and non-feature films certified by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2022, were eligible for contention. This year’s jury includes Rahul Rawail as Chairperson of the Feature Film Jury, Nila Madhab Panda as the Chairperson of the Non-Feature Film Jury, and Gangadhar Mudalair, Chairperson of the Best Writing on Cinema Jury.

Aattam

The Malayalam-language drama “Aattam” won the Best Feature Film Award. Rishabh Shetty was awarded as Best Actor, while the Best Actress honour was shared between Nithya Menen and Manasi Parekh. “Ponniyin Selvan: 1” won the most awards, four.
