The 78th British Film Academy Awards commonly known as the BAFTA Awards is scheduled to be organized on Sunday, 16th & 17th February 2025 as a two-day event at the Royal Festival Hall within London’s Southbank Center.

BAFTA Award 2025 is being represented by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. This event is held to celebrate or represent the awards for the best feature-length films and documentaries of any nationality that were screened at British cinemas in 2024.
BAFTA 2025 was hosted by David Tenant for the second year in a row and will be streaming live on BBC One and iPlayer in the UK and on BritBox in North America, the Nordics, and Australia along with other international broadcasters.
A new Children’s and Family Film Award going to make its debut this year in the first new BAFTA category in five years since best casting in 2020, highlighting the importance of children’s media.

The BAFTA nominations were announced on January 15. Payal Kapadia’s All We Imagine As Light earned a nomination in the Best Film Not in the English Language category.
