The inaugural edition of the Guwahati Asian Film Festival (GAFF) 2025 will be scheduled to be held from February 7 to 9 at the Jyoti Chitraban Film Studio. The GAFF 2025 was organized by Trending Now Media as a three-day event. This event is an annual event dedicated to celebrating and representing the diverse cinematic traditions of Asia.
The Guwahati Asian Film Festival stands as a major cultural event, highlighting the creativity and stories of both seasoned and emerging filmmakers, thereby enhancing the global recognition of Asian Cinema. The forthcoming 1st Guwahati Asian Film Festival expects vibrant or huge participation from Asian countries.

The event is now accepting submissions from Asian Filmmakers or non-Asian creators with works centered on Asian Culture. The festival will commence with In The Arms of The Tree, an Oscar-nominated Iranian film by Babak Khajehpasha, and closing film The closing film of the festival will be My Melbourne by directors Imtiaz Ali, Rima Das, Onir, and Kabir Khan, which is set to be a landmark event.
This event also features films from countries including Turkey, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iran & China. In addition to film screening, the festival will feature panel discussions and networking events for filmmakers and enthusiasts.
