Juno Awards 2025 Nominations & Winners List

The CBC Juno Awards 2025 is hosted by Michael Buble, and kicked off the award ceremony in Vancouver by saying that he is proud to be a Canadian & Pop Crooner, calling Canada the greatest nation on earth, and added that the country is not for sale.

Michael Bublé handed Canadians a heartfelt dose of patriotism at the Juno Awards on Sunday, setting the tone for a night of not-so-subtle references to Canada’s current tensions with the United States.

During the awards ceremony, lots of celebrities and Canadian stars gathered there, including Anne Murray, Josh Ross, Tate McRae, and Shawn Mendes.

Meanwhile, at the ongoing event, other musicians leaned into Canadiana, including East Coast hero, Anne Murray, who dressed up in a sequined red hockey jersey with Canada printed in the front and won the lifetime achievement award, and also said some heartfelt words in her speech.

“I just couldn’t do it,” she said.

“I knew instinctively I needed a place to go, to escape when my work was done. Canada is my haven. My safety blanket. My light at the end of the tunnel — it still is.”
