The Mazhavil Entertainment Awards is an award ceremony for films presented by Mazhavil Manorama, a Malayalam-language television network from the state of Kerala, and recently Mazhavil Entertainment Awards 2024, organized by Mazhavil Manorama on September 7, in partnership with the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) and the Kerala Film Producers Association (KFPA), is set to be the biggest celebration of Malayalam cinema.
Mohanlal along with a team of 17 artists, including Aparna Balamurali and Anarkali Marikar will delight the audience with some soulful renditions at the event.
Mazhavil Entertainment Award 2024
This star-studded event will feature over 100 Malayalam cinema stars, offering fans the chance to attend in person for the first time. Since 2019, the Mazhavil Entertainment Awards has become the premier celebration of Malayalam cinema, attracting over 1 crore TV viewers and 5 crore social media viewers annually.
Mazhavil Manorama part of MM TV Limited, has been a leader in Kerala’s entertainment since 2011, with diverse programming like movies, serials, and award shows. Its OTT platform ManoramaMAX, launched in 2019, offers 400 films and a wide range of content, becoming a key destination for Malayalam Entertainment.
Mollywood superstars Mammootty and Mohanlal will present the Ultimate Entertainer Award to Jagathy. The event is sponsored by Malabar Gold and Diamonds.
Megastar Mammootty received the award for Entertainer of the Year (Actor) for his performances in ‘Kaathal-The Core and ‘Bramayugam’. Sathyan Anthikad was also honoured with the Master Entertainer (Director) Award, which was presented to him by actor Mohanlal.
Urvashi took home the award for Master Entertainer (Actor) for her performances in Malayalam cinema. The award is extra sweet for the actor, who was recently honoured with the Kerala State Award for Best Actor (Female). Veteran actor Sheela received the Evergreen Entertainer Award.
Anaswara Rajan won Entertainer of the Year for Best Actor for her performance in ‘Neru’ while ‘Aavesham’ produced by Anwar Rasheed and Nazriya was named Best Movie. Director Blessy also received the Entertainer of the Year for Best Director.
