The Dance Awards is a national dance competition held annually in Las Vegas & Orlando. The event is held annually to recognize excellence in dance between the ages of five and nineteen.
TDA is widely recognized and one of the prestigious awards presented for dance in the US, and is known as one of the toughest competitions internationally for young pre-professional dancers.
The TDA includes competitors from multiple dance platforms that have competed or appeared on several other talent or dancing shows such as America’s Got Talent, World of Dance, Dance Moms, Dancing with the Stars, and So You Think You Can Dance.

The Dance Awards 2025 were held annually in two different places:
- One is at The VENETIAN / PALAZZO from June 29 – July 6, 2025.
- The second one is at Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin, Orlando, from July 12 – July 19, 2025.

The Dance Awards 2025 in Orlando will be held from July 12-19, 2025, at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin. The event is a collaboration between 24 Seven Dance Convention, JUMP Dance Convention, and NUVO Dance Convention.

The Dance Awards History
The Dance Awards is a national dance competition affiliated with JUMP, Nuvo, and 24 Seven Dance, and is produced by Break the Floor. The inaugural event of the Dance Awards was held in 2011 in New York City, and is continued to be held annually 2012, and 2013.
In 2014, the competition expanded to two locations, Las Vegas and New York City. It continued to be held this way for another year in 2015. However, in 2016 and 2017, the second location was changed to Orlando instead of New York City.
